Description
In the current version of Codex CLI, the experience of uploading from a local development environment to an SSH server feels significantly worse than in earlier versions. This workflow (local development → deploy to the cloud) is very common, and the current process feels clunky, unintuitive, and less smooth.

Steps to Reproduce

3. Compare the interaction, responsiveness, and ease of use with a previous version of Codex CLI.
