[macOS] Dock badge remains at 1 after completed task is opened and read

What issue are you seeing?

The Codex Dock badge on macOS remains at 1 even though the completed task notification has been opened and the task has already been viewed.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Let a local Codex task finish while Codex is running in the background.
2. Click the macOS completion notification.
3. Verify that the completed task opens and has been viewed.
4. Observe that the Codex Dock badge still shows 1.
5. Open the task again.
6. Fully quit and relaunch Codex.

Expected behavior:
The Dock badge should be cleared after the completed task has been opened and there are no unread tasks.

Actual behavior:
The Dock badge remains at 1 even after viewing the task and fully restarting Codex.

Additional diagnostics:

• macOS recorded that the completion notification was clicked and removed.
• The local Codex database contains 0 unread inbox items.
• There are also 0 unread automation runs.
• This appears to be a stale or unsynchronized Dock badge count rather than a hidden unread task.
