What issue are you seeing?

I hope Codex can support portrait monitor layouts. When opening documents or other views that currently appear in the sidebar, they should open in a separate tab panel at the bottom by default.
This would split the interface into two vertical sections: the chat interface on top, and a tab area below for documents, other views, and the terminal. Many developers use portrait-oriented secondary monitors, and this layout would make vertical reading much more comfortable. The bottom panel should also support maximizing to full screen.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

Please refer to the issue above. The expected behavior is support for portrait-oriented monitor workflows.
