What variant of Codex are you using?

Desktop

What feature would you like to see?

Codex desktop projects can reference source folders, but they do not appear to support project-level instructions like ChatGPT web Projects. Known 'workaround' is to use agent.md files inside of a repo; but when idea is pre-repo; or multiple people are using chats to generate features, this would be helpful to apply SPECIFIC codified language to all participants.

Please add project instructions to Codex projects so repository-specific permissions, workflows, and operating preferences can apply consistently across chats. This would be especially useful for long-running infrastructure projects.
