Codex app: quota-exhausted popup has no close/dismiss option

Description

In the Codex desktop app on macOS, when the Codex and work usage quota is exhausted, a popup/banner appears with the following content (translated from the Chinese UI):

  • Title: "Your Codex and work usage quota is used up"
  • Buttons: "Upgrade to Pro", "Add quota"
  • Footnote: "Add quota or upgrade your plan, or wait for usage to reset on Aug 8 at 11:44"

The popup has no visible close (X) button or dismiss option, so it cannot be closed. A user who only wants to keep reading or copying from an existing conversation while waiting for the quota to reset has no way to dismiss it.

Expected behavior

  • Add a close affordance, such as an X button and/or Esc-to-dismiss.
  • Ideally, allow the notice to stay dismissed for the session or until the quota resets, with a less intrusive way to reopen it (for example a status indicator) instead of a blocking popup.

Environment

  • Codex desktop app on macOS
  • Reproduced when the weekly Codex/work usage quota is exhausted
