Will Usage Automatically Switch Back to Plus Subscription After Reset?

Because Codex showed that my Plus account hit a usage limit, I added an OpenAI API key and it's working now. I'd like to ask, once my account usage is restored, will it automatically prioritize using my Plus membership quota, or do I need to make any settings changes?
