Ultra reasoning isn’t available with GPT-5.6 on Bedrock

Hi! I’m using Codex CLI with GPT-5.6 Sol and Terra through Amazon Bedrock, and noticed that Ultra reasoning isn’t available.

#36892 appears to have added the required multi-agent metadata, but the Bedrock catalog still stops at Max. #33102 looked like it addressed the remaining piece, although it was closed without explanation.

Is Ultra support for Bedrock still planned? If nobody is working on it, would you be open to a small PR adding the Ultra preset and updating the existing test?

you prompted with a certain of-error... or this is just it? this way?

is "max" working (max the name, but jokingly refering to "max" the reasoning effort)? I recomend not to "voldtagter" your badget

all of what you can ever wish, can be used Luna for ... literally the same thing you can get on 5.5 xhigh , but we call it "gpt 5.6 luna"

)))

It's not prompt. It's simply not available in the reasoning level selection. Neither in the CLI, nor in the ChatGPT desktop app.

careful with what subscription you use and evaluate

No subscription. Amazon bedrock is an api, only the models are hosted on aws bedrock infea rather than on openai infra, and you call an aws api rather than the openai api.

@shijie-oai I noticed that #33102 already implemented this change but was closed without merging. Is Ultra support for Bedrock intentionally being held back, or would the team accept an invited external PR restoring that focused change and its catalog test? If so, could you explicitly invite me to submit it under the contribution policy?
