Further local investigation found this was expected Appshot policy behavior, not a Brave Browser or attachment defect.

The active Brave page belonged to a disallowed purchase/order-history category. Codex captured the window metadata, screenshot, and accessibility text, then correctly stopped the attachment during its post-capture URL-policy check.

What this means

• Brave itself is allowed by the app policy.
• Brave Appshots succeeded earlier in the same session on a different page.
• The block is page-level, not browser-level.
• Restarting the helper does not change this outcome.
