What issue are you seeing?

I'm running the Codex app within ChatGPT Desktop for Windows with WSL for agent environment and terminal shell. Previously I was able to open the terminal window by clicking the bottom pane button, or selecting View->Open Terminal, or with "Ctrl+`" keys. Now the terminal window appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears before the shell prompt becomes visible. This change seems to have occurred within the last week following a version upgrade.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Any of: 1) Click on bottom pane button, 2) selecting menu option View->Open Terminal, 3) using "Ctrl+`" keys.

What is the expected behavior?

Terminal window should open and display the WSL terminal prompt
