Simple auth flow to use OpenAI subscription in mobile or desktop apps

What feature would you like to see?

As of now I can build an app on top of codex and use its auth flow to use inference under an OpenAI subscription within my app. However for what I am trying to achieve codex is way too heavy.

Why not release an independent lightweight library that allows me to do the same without having to install codex? Ideally something that also works on mobile.

It appears the overall strategy for OpenAI is to move toward something like a superapp. But to be honest you can't solve it all and this would unleash a significant amount of creative energy among developers while cementing OpenAI at the infrastructure level.

At least that is my outside perspective but would very much appreciate some feedback or comments!
