math not rendered correctly on codex app on linux (correct on web)

What issue are you seeing?

sometimes math is not rendered correctly on codex app on Ubuntu (on web same math is ok).
e.g.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

just asking math questions, sooner or later it will produce rendering issues
