Use Codex.

What is the expected behavior?
Apply patches faithfully. It is currently taking 3+ attempts to apply edits.
What do you see instead?
Mangled edits, and patch workarounds.

it's happening in the vs code extension too, it seems like this started happening within the last week, I wasn't having issues with this until the last few days
We've made some improvements here in v 0.45 and 0.46 and this should be significantly improved. Please open a new issue if you still further problems related to apply_patch.
