What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.810.7004.0

What subscription do you have?

PRO

What platform is your computer?

Windows x64

What issue are you seeing?

After updating Codex for Windows to version 26.810.7004.0, Activity View no longer shows the colored project icon and project name under each task.
Tasks from different projects now look almost identical, making it difficult to understand which project each task belongs to.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Create or open tasks in several different projects with different colored icons .
Open Activity View.
Compare the current view with the previous version.
Notice that project names and colored project icons are no longer displayed next to the tasks.

What is the expected behavior?

Activity View should display the colored project icon and project name for every task, as it did previously.
Alternatively, please add a setting that allows users to enable project names and colored project icons in Activity View.

Additional information

When working with 20–30 projects, Activity View is the only practical way to see what is happening across all projects and quickly understand where each task belongs.
Without the colored project icon and project name, Activity View becomes just a wall of text. It is almost impossible to identify which project a task belongs to at a glance.
Please restore this feature or at least provide a setting to enable project names and colored project icons. Visually, this was a lifesaver.

Thanks. I reviewed #38498, but this report is not a duplicate.
#38498 is a broader feature request about workspace filtering, project scoping, and title prefixes.
#38797 reports a specific Windows regression: Activity View previously displayed the colored project icon and project name, but these existing visual identifiers disappeared after updating to version 26.810.7004.0.
This report asks to restore the previous Activity View behavior, or at least provide a setting to enable it. The attached before/after screenshots demonstrate the regression.

+1. The critical issue for me is the loss of the colored project icon and project name in Activity View. With 20–30 projects, generated summaries alone turn the list into a wall of text and make it nearly impossible to identify which project a task belongs to at a glance.

Please restore the persistent project name and colored icon. I can live with generated thread summaries if necessary, but they should be optional: please add an opt-out that hides summaries while keeping project identity visible. This regression is why I rolled back and remain on an older build.
