What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Codex/ChatGPT Desktop: 26.803.81509

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Linux 7.1.8-arch1-3 x86_64

What issue are you seeing?

On Linux with locale pt_BR.UTF-8, my Documents directory is configured as /home/rafael/Documentos, confirmed by xdg-user-dir DOCUMENTS.
However, Codex Desktop always creates projectless workspaces under /home/rafael/Documents/Codex.
The desktop app appears to construct this path using homeDirectory + "Documents" + "Codex" instead of consulting the XDG user directory configuration.
Expected behavior:
Codex should create its workspace under /home/rafael/Documentos/Codex, or provide a setting to choose the projectless workspace directory.
Environment:
Codex/ChatGPT Desktop: 26.803.81509
Package: chatgpt-desktop-bin 26.803.81509-1
Desktop: GNOME
Locale: pt_BR.UTF-8
xdg-user-dir DOCUMENTS: /home/rafael/Documentos

What steps can reproduce the bug?
