What version of Codex CLI is running?

codex-cli 0.147.0

What subscription do you have?

chat gpt

Which model were you using?

sol

What platform is your computer?

win11 pro

What terminal emulator and version are you using (if applicable)?

cmd.exe

Codex doctor report

What issue are you seeing?

When I run codex clin in terminal I cannot see/interact wiht the session in ChatGPT mobile app.
Claude makes it all seamless, for each individual session I can use /rc to enable remote control of the session. Please make it available for codex-cli as well.

Note: I know that if I start ChatGPT desktop app then it works, but for that I have to exit cli session because they conflict with each other (session write lock).

What steps can reproduce the bug?

create a session in codex-cli and try to access it in remote section of chatGPT mobile app.

What is the expected behavior?

To add things up: when controlling from mobile I cannot issue the commands as from terminal (to clear or compact context etc). Pls make it possible to control from mobile as if I actually running it all from my terminal.

This is a pretty big barrier to having Codex take the ringleader position in my orchestration. The macOS "remote" architecture is treating codex CLI as a second class product when it is actually the first class product.

ChatGPT for macOS should not be involved in remote control of codex CLI sessions.
