What variant of Codex are you using?

Version 26.814.41407

What feature would you like to see?

Please create a quantifiable way to know if we are getting near a cooldown lockout on ChatGPT. Or throttle us to slow it down on the processing if needed in the background at times if you all don't feel like giving us a way to understand the pressure is building and we are approaching a cooldown. But don't have a feature like auto-boosting on intelligence and then lock people out of their own accounts for needing a cooldown. If anything have an auto-throttle to prevent us from Redlining. Or, do what codex does and show us our burn usage for the week.

Additional information

I dont' know what the reason is for completely locking us out for a 'cooldown' but when that happens unexpectedly and then I'm not even allowed to use my other chatgpt intelligence levels during this, that's outrageous. I have $200 pro and I wasn't even using Pro when it happened. I was doing research which ChatGPT is known to be good for but then I got locked out. So I don't know if I had work in too large of runs when it was doing research passes and synthesis or if it was an actual number of runs in a given period of time. Whatever it is, it should have an easy way to determine potential lockdown pressure. And look, no customer wants to burden the servers to the point that we can't use the tools. So having a throttle of slowing down the work instead of you all having an auto-intelligence booster would make more sense since your booster can cause people to get cooldown lockouts. Which i think is what happened to me considering I only used High or Extra High GPT 5.6. But at $200 per month, that shouldn't be happening for marketing research work. It cost me a day of work I needed and I had no idea it was about to happen. That's absurd.
