Codex is unable to save a sample file

What issue are you seeing?

Usage reset to 100% on August 20, but Codex still cannot save even a tiny test file to \\datashare\users\Rodger\Football\Project Pineapple\Access\Automation. The save request hangs and creates no file. Another ChatGPT task can save graphics to the same NAS, so this appears specific to this Codex task/workspace connection rather than NAS permissions or usage limits.

What is the expected behavior?

I am not able to use the box above What steps can reproduce the bug? When I type in the box it erases it and puts back in the Session ID. HEre are the Steps.

Use these reproduction steps in the ticket:
Open the Codex task “Redesign Access database” in the ChatGPT desktop app.
Confirm the shared project folder is available:
\\datashare\users\Rodger\Football\Project Pineapple\Access
Ask Codex to make a harmless file change—for example, create this one-line temporary file:
\\datashare\users\Rodger\Football\Project Pineapple\Access\Automation\.codex-write-test.txt
Codex attempts to save using its normal workspace file-edit method.
The save operation hangs for more than 40 seconds and returns no result.
Stop/cancel the hanging operation.
Confirm that .codex-write-test.txt was never created.
Read-only access works: Codex can see and inspect project files.
Usage had reset to 100%, and the PC/Codex app were restarted and signed out/in.
Another ChatGPT task, Arch, can save graphics to the same NAS share successfully.

Expected: Codex creates the temporary file immediately.
Actual: Codex save operation hangs indefinitely; no file is created.

Additional information

This blocks active development of the project. Codex can read the shared NAS workspace and provide SQL/VBA guidance, but cannot save any project file, including a new one-line temporary file. The problem persisted after the weekly usage reset to 100%, restarting the PC, quitting/reopening ChatGPT, and signing out/in. Other ChatGPT work can save graphics to the same NAS location, so the NAS share itself appears healthy. Please investigate the Codex workspace write/save connection for this task.
