Codex desktop app fails to create PR while the same task succeeds in Codex Web

What issue are you seeing?

Pull request creation fails from the Codex desktop app, while opening the same Cloud task in Codex Web allows the PR to be created successfully.

The repository is correctly connected through the ChatGPT Codex Connector and the PR created from Codex Web immediately becomes visible in the desktop app, where it can also be reviewed and merged.

Therefore the GitHub repository/integration itself is working; the issue appears specific to the Create Pull Request action in the Codex desktop app.

This is reproducible with the same repository, account, task and commit.

Workaround: open the same task in Codex Web → Create PR → return to Codex desktop app → PR is visible and can be merged normally.
