What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

v0.149.0 (terminal specific issue)

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

Closing a Codex terminal chat leaves the terminal at
‘Ctrl+D / Enter to restart’; regression, previously fixed.
Previously, there had been a user option to prevent this behavior, but codex reports to me the option is no longer available.
This is a worse user experience and undesired behavior. Simply ending a chat should not force me to make a decision about the terminal itself, that's nonsensical, and there's no reason that it cannot simply return to the terminal line where codex was invoked as it has the entire time I've used it.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: no-active-thread-01a02df2-4b00-78d3-9753-25bf180f06fc

What is the expected behavior?

Simply returns me to the terminal line where Codex was invoked, as it has done previously.

Additional information

If this was an intentional change, removing a user facing option for the better legacy behavior is absolutely a terrible choice and disrespectful to users.
