[Windows 26.818] Built-in Browser fails trusted RPC dependency validation

I can reproduce this issue on a newer Codex for Windows build.

Exact error:

Trusted RPC dependency must resolve within a configured trusted code path: file:///C:/Users/<redacted>/.codex/plugins/cache/openai-bundled/browser/26.818.41509/scripts/browser-service.mjs

The in-app browser opens pages visually, but Codex cannot attach to, inspect, screenshot, click, or type in the browser. The failure happens before browser discovery or page interaction.

Troubleshooting already performed:

1. Fully closed and reopened Codex multiple times.
2. Used the Windows "Repair" option for the Codex app.
3. Renamed the existing bundled Browser and Chrome plugin cache directories.
4. Restarted Codex and confirmed that it rebuilt fresh Browser and Chrome cache directories.
5. Retested after the rebuild, but the exact same trusted RPC error remained.

Before refreshing the cache, I also observed a possible path mismatch: the native host configuration referenced the Chrome bundled runtime, while the failing trusted RPC dependency resolved through the Browser plugin directory.

This reproduces consistently and does not appear to be caused by the website, authentication state, Opera GX, Chrome, or a stale plugin cache.
