ChatGPT can read TradingView pages but cannot click, navigate, or switch tabs. Reinstalling ChatGPT, the Chrome extension, and reconnecting CDP only restores control temporarily. The session reports: “Invalid signature (code or signature have been modified).”

Feedback ID: 01a02f0d-f810-7183-a7a7-cc241fe4418c

What is the expected behavior?

ChatGPT should maintain a stable connection to the Chrome extension and be able to click buttons, navigate pages, open and switch tabs, and interact with TradingView without repeatedly losing browser-control access.

Additional information

Related issue: #39836 reports similar symptoms on Windows. My issue occurs on macOS and additionally reports: “Invalid signature (code or signature have been modified).”

Troubleshooting already completed:

  • Reinstalled the latest ChatGPT macOS application
  • Removed ChatGPT Classic
  • Reinstalled the Chrome extension
  • Removed and reconnected the Chrome plugin
  • Enabled Full CDP Access
  • Restarted ChatGPT and Chrome
  • Tested in new Work/Codex sessions

The problem seriously disrupts my TradingView market-analysis workflow.
