On Codex Desktop 26.818.61809, pressing Ctrl+Shift+V once pastes the clipboard twice into the composer.

I can reproduce this on Fedora 43 / GNOME 49.9 / Mutter (Wayland).

I upgraded from 26.818.61809 to the latest official RPM, 26.825.31414, but the issue still occurs.

Results:

  • ChatGPT desktop app (Chat): Ctrl+V = once, Ctrl+Shift+V = twice
  • ChatGPT desktop app (Work): Ctrl+V = once, Ctrl+Shift+V = twice
  • ChatGPT desktop app (Codex): Ctrl+V = once, Ctrl+Shift+V = twice
  • Firefox on chatgpt.com: both paste once

I had already changed the "Start or stop voice mode" shortcut, so the issue still reproduces without that shortcut conflict.

No matching GNOME custom shortcut was found via dconf dump.
