Official Codex authentication loop after usage reset and Pro upgrade

This issue is occurring in 'OpenAI's official Codex', not in a third-party Codex client.

I previously reached my Codex usage limit and was shown a message telling me to try again after a specific reset time, approximately **5:00 PM KST on August 27, 2026.

Before/around that time, I upgraded my ChatGPT plan to 'Pro' because I needed additional Codex usage.

After the upgrade:

• My ChatGPT account correctly shows the 'Pro' plan.
• I signed in again successfully.
• The originally stated Codex usage reset time has already passed.
• Official Codex is generally accessible on my account.
• However, one existing Codex conversation enters a repeated authentication/login loop.
• Opening the affected conversation causes Codex to request authentication again.
• Authentication itself completes successfully, but returning to the same conversation triggers another authentication request.
• I also tried continuing/recovering the work in a new Codex chat, but authentication was requested again during that process.
• At times, the Codex chat input area remains disabled and I cannot continue working normally.

This no longer appears to be a simple usage-limit waiting period because the originally stated reset time has already passed.

The behavior makes it appear that the Codex authentication, session, entitlement, or usage-limit state may not have refreshed correctly after the usage reset and the plan upgrade.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open OpenAI's official Codex.
2. Sign in successfully with my ChatGPT account.
3. Open the affected existing Codex conversation.
4. Codex asks me to authenticate again.
5. Complete authentication successfully.
6. Return to the Codex conversation.
7. Authentication is requested again.
8. The same loop repeats.

I also attempted to continue the work from a new Codex conversation, but the authentication request can occur there as well.

• Time zone: **KST / UTC+9
• Previous usage reset time shown by Codex: approximately 5:00 PM KST
• The issue continued after that reset time.
• Authentication itself appears to complete successfully.
• The problem is specifically that Codex repeatedly requests authentication or leaves the chat input unavailable afterward.

Could you please check whether there is a stuck or stale Codex authentication/session/entitlement/usage-limit state associated with my account?

I am not requesting a manual usage reset. I would like to confirm why Codex access did not return normally after the stated reset time and why the official Codex client continues to enter an authentication loop even after successful sign-in and upgrading to Pro.
