would be great to have a default keybinding for opening codex, like we have for copilot

I think ctrl + shift is superior to ctrl + cmd as you can do it with one finger on most keyboards

ctrl + shift + c
That is a direct conflict for me, and i think other built in and extension based shortcuts..
On my local, i remapped a lot to my left hand... for codex I went with a two key approach locally:
ctrl + shift + c > ctrl + shift + x
And for a new vs code terminal:
ctrl + shift + c > ctrl + shift + t
You can bind any hotkey you want to this. We may do more out of the box over time but you have full control if you want it.
