What platform is your computer?

What steps can reproduce the bug?
Add the example MCP config for Figma from your docs to the config.toml file, start codex from terminal
What is the expected behavior?
MCP connects
What do you see instead?
Gives and error "Error loading configuration: missing field command in mcp_servers.figma". When I place the command - "npc" in the config, codex starts but the MCP connection times out, even with the time increased.

Same error for me. I hope the Codex team can add support for Figma MCP server.
The Figma MCP (local + remote) work now with 0.45.0-alpha.6. For remote via oauth, you'll need to enable
experimental_use_rmcp_client = truehttps://github.com/openai/codex/blob/main/docs/config.md#connecting-to-mcp-servers
