after tasks done, i instruct codex to update AGENTS.md
codex return 'Cleaned up AGENTS.md—all the garbled characters are gone and the text now shows standard ASCII (for example, “AI‑Powered” and “user‑friendly”). Refresh your editor to see the tidy version."

then i saw all "-" (Hyphen (-) or Dash (—)) become "‑"

the ASCII code should keep correct
