Feature Request: Want OpenAI to dev user memory feature for Codex

What feature would you like to see?

I want a feature that lets Codex remember things about me (the user), or cross-project memory. Just like Claude Code's "user memory" feature with a CLAUDE.md in the ~/.claude, I want a similar feature for Codex CLI, adding an AGENTS.md in the ~/.codex directory, enabling codex to remember some of my developing preferences and presonal information like github account. Also, I want a new slash command called /memory for managing the AGENTS.md files.
