It's a VS code issue, not Codex. I had the same issue; however, when I ran Codex in Zed it worked fine.

Have the same issue and dragging in Cursor worked in previous Codex versions too.
I end up copying the relative file path and paste the text, but it's annoying.

No environnement change except codex cli from 0.44 to 0.47

was working in v.044
