Not Asked for Login but goes straight to OPENAI_API_KEY missing

What issue are you seeing?

When I start Codex, I do not get prompted to chose an authentication method but it goes straight to:

Missing openai API key.

Set the environment variable OPENAI_API_KEY and re-run this command.
You can create a key here: https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

Have tried some of the other commands like resume, config, etc. but no changes

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Install it (home-manager, brew), run codex

What is the expected behavior?
