Remove 5h and weekly limits, instead have a monthly pool

What feature would you like to see?

It has been said before, and I don't understand why those limits are even in.
All it does is create an atmosphere of uncertainty, where you're constantly checking if you can run the next query or if you're going to be limited.

Neither the 5h nor the weekly limit makes any sense.

We pay a monthly subscription. With it we have some token allowance.
Right now about 5M per 7 days.
Why not have 20M (or 25M rather) or how much ever it is and per month?
And if you used up your contingent, wait until the month passed or buy more contingent.

3rd party offers that use codex or gpt-5 are not limited like this.

All it does is annoy us and hinder productivity, create a negative atmosphere.

And dedicated coding plans would be even better.
If I have a Teams and a Plus account (or Pro), I only use 1 account for Chat, and I use Chat only because it's not limited (at least I don't perceive any limits) like codex is. So I'm paying for both but only use 1. And I'm paying for both because of the 5h and weekly limits.
Long-term I won't be paying for either but use a 3rd party provider. I'm already cancelling the Plus subscription and moving that to a 3rd party provider, because for the same price I get more than double the usage and no limits.
And I would've done the same with the Teams subscription if I wasn't subscribed for a year in advance.
