What version of Codex is running?

0.47.0

What subscription do you have?

plus

Which model were you using?

gpt-5-codex

Darwin 25.1.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/f9f1d2cc-5c72-4571-9c51-643262d1a617

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Just drag the file path or editor to codex cli input. This is not the same as https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/3761. That issue focus on the files, but this issue focus on single file

What is the expected behavior?

Seems 0.44 works, 0.46 and 0.47 not work.

Before upgrading from 0.44 to 0.47, it was working, something is off.
