Pasting multi-line text no longer works in Codex CLI. The confirmation UI appears, but when you accept the dialog (by clicking "Paste"), nothing gets pasted.

Thanks for the bug report. You said that it "no longer works". I presume that means it was previously working for you prior to 0.50.0? Do you happen to remember which version you were using when it worked? Was it 0.49.0?
PR #5683 The paste prompt appears when bracketed paste is not enabled.
What you’re describing behaves erratically because of the terminal color reset I mentioned earlier.
The fix should resolve the issue.
For me, it also sometimes pasted and sent automatically, and other times it didn’t paste at all — it seems to depend on the terminal and environment.

Same. Since version 0.47 that got updated today, I can no longer copy and paste via keyboard nor via right mouse click and paste.
Hi, I believe it stopped working from 0.47.
For clarification, pasting shorter text (one line) still works.
Its changed to ctrl+shift+v (rather than just ctrl-v) dont ask me why but thats how it is now
Indeed, I can confirm this is the solution. Would have been great if they had mentioned this in the footer/bottom/legenda in the interface.
