🧩 Bug report: @ mention in Codex CLI always returns “no matches”

When typing @ to mention a file in the Codex CLI, the interface always displays
no matches, even though there are valid files in the current working directory.

This happens regardless of whether the directory is a git repo or a normal folder.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I can't reproduce it on my other MacBook.
