Can you provide more context? Which version of codex are you using?

Also, can you provide more details about what problem you'd like to see solved here? You're describing a solution ("global search"), but it's not clear what use case you'd like to see addressed.

When I have many prompts and I'm working on more issues in parallel, I might find some description I already gave in a prompt or an answer given some days ago, because that is useful to prompt on a similar issue. Search is useful, same as in the ChatGPT web interface. It would be great to have a sort of memory and be able to ask Codex to retake an answer or give the URL of certain Codex answers and ask it to perform something.

Working with the Codex web means having a lot of notes in another file — I have to take notes on what I'm doing and the URL of the prompt. Sometimes I already said that a part of code or a function has to be applied somewhere, and then if days later I have to ask a similar thing, it would be nice to have a simple way to find the prompt where we discussed it.

I'm doing hundreds or thousands of tasks a week; after one day it’s impossible to find a previous prompt in the web interface, and the titles are not always useful — they’re often too generic.

Thanks for the additional context. Very helpful!

There are a few other feature requests that overlap this one, and they have some upvotes.
