Unable to interrupt when Codex stuck on terminal prompt

What version of Codex is running?

codex-cli 0.50.0

What subscription do you have?

Plus

Which model were you using?

gpt-5 codex medium

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26100.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

I asked Codex to pull down several repos using gh. It made a terminal command with a loop, but got stuck on the first iteration with:

This key is not known by any other names. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/[fingerprint])?

Hitting esc to interrupt has no effect. Hitting CTRL+C has no effect. The terminal also seems broken and I can't write anything. Or see it, at least.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I think just asking it the same will reproduce it.

What is the expected behavior?

I need to be able to interrupt. It has gone for 7 minutes and does not time out. Now I need to lose my entire session to continue.
