Simple Request Used 18% of 5 hour limit/6% of Weekly Limit | Reconnecting

What issue are you seeing?
I asked Codex to format a 2 item dropdown in a simple feedback sheet. It was saying it was working for around 10 minutes which I thought was strange, it then said it was reconnecting. Throughout this time I was at ~78% used for my 5 hour limit. After reconnecting, it shot my 5 hour limit up to 96% after this very simple prompt, it also used over 6% of my weekly limit in that 10 minute "working" disconnection phase.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

Context window was 11% usage, then it switched back to 100% after I cancelled this crazy response.
What is the expected behavior?
Expected behavior was maybe a 45 second working period and a quick update.
Additional information
I would like my usage replenished for this error, I try to get the most of my teams pro subscription before moving over the API, this just ruined my entire usage period.

Similar issues to mine, this is my only issue I have posted though.
Also having codex issues with limits, never even knew limits existed until today, I have done some very light usage, and my 5 hour limit has been reached. Never had this issue even working long ass marathons. Ive contacted support.

@kroth0918 how did you manage to get in contact with them lol? I upgraded to business from plus because of this debacle expecting increased usage, loosing everything in the process (important chat trails codex scripts etc) only to now think its a bug.
They must have seen this bug post, that's the only way I saw to contact them about this when I googled it.
I hope they do something about it I switched to codex from CC due to the usage limits
Yeah the usage here is decent, I just have several HTML files with roughly 4k lines a piece, so I can burn through it pretty quickly. Each maxed 5 hour session is about 25% of the allotment, so I get about 12 hours a week of heavy coding per account. Far better than it was with Claude for sure though.
It's a bug. They also reset our team's quota this morning, and I noticed the quota was used up very quickly.
@facelezzzz Ive asked them to reset it via email support, haven't heard back yet.
So after they reset yours, it was then used up again super quick? If so, did you contact them again?
They may need some time to handle all of this. I haven’t used Codex since the reset, and I hadn’t contacted them before.
