The agent constantly gets confused by line endings, causing the agent to see large diffs when doing code edits. It's super frustrating to constantly have to remind the agent about my setup. I have the instructions in my AGENTS.md file but that is also consistently ignored during work.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

Try running codex on WSL on Windows.
What is the expected behavior?
I expect the agent to initialize with the correct line endings at startup, and remember this throughout the session.
