Which model were you using?
gpt-5-codex
What platform is your computer?
Darwin 25.0.0 arm64 arm
What issue are you seeing?
When I try to compact the memory (/compact) it try to reconnect 5 times and always fail.
But if I ask him anything it will answer the query without any connection problem
What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?
It should compact the context

I tried it in two different sessions and it failed on both.
Both session had a context greater than 45%
