Codex CLI halting when multi-step plan needs to be implemented

What issue are you seeing?

Codex can generate responses for simple questions, but whenever a multi-step plan is required, it seems to just halt when it is about to take its first step

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

Just minutes ago everything was fine and codex could run cli commands, implement muti-step code changes etc. I tried changing models and updating versions, but no luck
