What issue are you seeing?

I was previously using OpenAI Codex v0.54.0 without issues. After receiving an upgrade notice, I installed v0.55.0 and immediately encountered a critical regression.
When I enter a prompt, Codex begins processing but then abruptly returns nothing—no output, no error—just a silent failure after a few seconds. It behaves like a deer in headlights. I attempted switching models and adjusting parameters, but the issue persists.
To confirm the regression, I uninstalled v0.55.0 and force-installed v0.54.0. The problem disappeared, and Codex resumed normal behavior.
Please investigate this issue. It appears v0.55.0 introduces a breaking change that affects prompt execution and output handling
