codex approvals issue

EndeavourOS (Wayland - Hyprland)

What issue are you seeing?

used "/approvals" and selected "full access" but codex says it has approvals policy "never"

when running "codex" it does not ask for approvals as it sometimes does

What steps can reproduce the bug?

ask codex "try sudo apt update and see the errors"
codex will say "my approvals policy is set on never"

What is the expected behavior?

i gave him my sudo code, so he should be able to run sudo commands as he already did before
