Hi , I am using the codex on my windows machine connected to Linux server via ssh , the thing i realized after upgrading the codex cli showing (Quota exceeded. Check your plan and billing details.) despite having the full quota remaining on codex usage webpage , please help me to fix this issue , thank you

@Mo7aisen, how did you authenticate the codex instance running over ssh? Are you using a ChatGPT login with the auth.json file copied from your local machine, or are you using an API key?

Make sure that you're logged in to your intended account and workspace. The /status command will tell you which account you're logged in with. Make sure it's the same account and workspace that you are looking at in the usage webpage.

Note that rate limits are different from quotas. Rate limits are shorter-term (5h and weekly) throttles. Quotas are monthly usage/spending caps (or admin-controller spending allotments for enterprise plans).

@etraut-openai totally true , thank you , I just fixed it but i experienced an issue with logging in with the email authentication it showings localhost page , fixed it and it is working now , many thanks !

Issue still occurs for me.
First time logging in to Codex, it asked me for an API key which i provided. It worked for a bit and then started giving me the error: Quota exceeded. Check your plan and billing details.

Check my account. I have used less than a dollar out of the $120 i have on it.

I tried logging out and logging in again, provided the key again and the issue still persists.

This happend to me just now. I had to use /logout and then log back it and it went away.
