Cannot write The @ sign

What issue are you seeing?
I cannot write the @-sign, nothing happens. It is the only special character that I have tried that seems to not work. Copy/paste is working, however that is rather tedious.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
In the terminal, write codex.
After codex interactive loads, try to write @filename.

What keyboard layout are you using? Which terminal emulator?
Thank you for that leading comment. I am running Wezterm with a Swedish keyboard and it seems like Wezterm was interpreting the input literally (ALT + 2) instead of as an @. Problem solved. Thank you!
