VS Code extension: notifications on completion like Cursor

What feature would you like to see?

It would be great if the VS Code Codex extension could send a notification when a job or command finishes, similar to how Cursor notifies the user after completing a task. Such a feature would improve the user experience by allowing me to focus on other work while waiting and then be alerted when the process completes. This is especially helpful for long-running tasks.

This feature would provide clear feedback when operations conclude, reducing the need to constantly monitor the extension. Desktop or VS Code notification would be ideal, with configurable options.
