Feature Request: Add /cost and /doctor commands
Wanted to suggest adding /cost and /doctor commands to the Codex repo.
I'd really like to have these options because I find it super useful to track usage and cost for the model I'm currently using. I actually enjoyed having something similar in Claude, and I think it would be even better if it was available here too.
- /cost: It's tough to keep track of token usage and estimated cost right now, especially when using Codex in different ways. A quick
/costcommand would make managing spending a lot easier. - /doctor: When something's not working, trying to figure out if it's an API issue or a setup problem can take a while. A
/doctorcommand that checks the basic health and connectivity would save a ton of time and hassle.
Basically, having these tools built-in would make using Codex smoother and help with troubleshooting.
