I was able to reproduce this issue. It occurs because the application attempts to read image dimensions from the path without verifying if it's a regular file first. This causes image::image_dimensions to block indefinitely when encountering special files like /dev/tty0 or named pipes.

I have submitted a PR that fixes this by checking std::fs::metadata to ensure the path is a regular file before attempting to read it.
