I think the AutoComplete feature is a must for the Codex. Please improve it. We really need it.

Can you say more about what you mean by "AutoComplete feature"?

Are you using the CLI version of Codex or the Extension?

Extension.. When writing code, the continuation of the code should be predicted and code suggestions should be made.

Codex isn't designed to be an auto-completer. It's a full code generation agent.

There are other tools like Github copilot or Cursor available if you're looking for auto completion.

Since I already have an OpenAI subscription, I prefer to use Codex. Github Copilot and Cursor agents also generate full code. If I choose to use them for the AutoComplete feature, what purpose does my OpenAI subscription serve?
