Support for Copilot-style inline suggestions in VSCode

What feature would you like to see?

Would it be possible to support inline suggestions, like those from the built-in GitHub Copilot extension, in VSCode? Ideally, automatically using tokens from my existing ChatGPT plan instead of requiring an API key.

I couldn't find a relevant existing issue or any indication that this feature exists in the Codex VSCode extension. As far as I know, this is only possible with an extension such as "Continue" and by bringing your own OpenAI API key.
