Please don't be behind and make sure that the agent can execute nested commands. This is impossible to compose anything with!

Can you provide more details about what you mean by "inline/nested commands"?

Are you using the codex CLI or extension?

Just the default codex cli install. It currently can't handle simple things like "if you're done run /prompts:review" from (CODEX|AGENTS).md

Even telling it to detect such instructions and just read the referenced file it goes into a rabbit hole.

Did you guys even think to train it on its own imperatives?
