What feature would you like to see?
When reviewing output using the /diff command I want to write feedback to the model. However I cannot type messages to it in this view so I end up writing a response in a text editor and then pasting it in later which is cumbersome.
It would be great if I could add simple comments inline similar to reviewing a pull request on GitHub

This feature request hasn't received enough upvotes, so I'm going to close it.
Are people supposed to upvote new features? Is that how OpenAI decides what features to add?
When you are using codex do you not review the diffs and have a variety of revision feedback? I am not sure if my proposed solution is the best one but it seems like it would have to be a pretty common problem with codex.
Yes, we prioritize new features by upvotes from Codex users and community members. If a feature request receives no upvotes, that may indicate that it's not a common need. It can also mean that the title or description didn't resonate with other users. You're welcome to open another feature request with an alternative title and description.
I personally think that there's merit to your idea, but I think it might resonate better with users of the Codex app versus the CLI.
